Energy plants

Generation and supply of process energy

INTEC energy plants provide process energy for a wide range of industries using renewable fuels.

For heating the energy plants, INTEC can rely on proven forward-feeding grates as well as fluidized bed combustion systems of various designs. In addition to using regionally available biomass as fuel, production waste is utilized, with minimal reliance on fossil fuels.

The hot gases generated from combustion heat a heat transfer medium such as thermal oil or water. This process energy is used as heat for heating applications such as continuous presses, cycle presses, impregnation systems, and drying processes, as well as for generating saturated steam. The exhaust gases, after releasing their heat, are cleaned of pollutants in specially tailored cleaning systems to meet local environmental protection regulations.

By using renewable fuels and applying advanced combustion technologies, INTEC energy plants contribute to improving energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
