INTEC carries out a risk analysis for all thermal oil heaters. The safety equipment, including sensors, logic and actuators, complies with DIN 4754 parts 1-3. This is equivalent to a SIL-2-version.
Thermal oil heater
ETE - Electrically heated
INTEC's electrically heated thermal oil heaters (ETE) are a sustainable alternative for small and medium-sized thermal oil systems.
All ETE thermal oil heaters operate completely emission-free, require neither a permitting process for firing nor tanks for fuel storage, and significantly reduce the demands on the supply infrastructure.
Compared to directly fired systems, electrically heated thermal oil heaters have a significantly reduced CO2 footprint, depending on the source of the electricity.
The performance range of our ETE systems is between 0.02 - 5 MW.
The heat transfer oil in electrically heated systems is heated using bundles of heating rods, with the heat transfer oil being passed through the bundles in multiple cross-flow.
This controlled oil flow in combination with a low surface load on the heating elements guarantees a long service life of the system.
Both the heating elements and the entire system can be designed for potentially explosive installation locations.
