Almost all heat transfer systems are open systems in which the expansion volume of the heat transfer medium is absorbed in so-called expansion vessels when it heats up. These are cylindrical vessels which are available in vertical and horizontal versions.
When repairing a heat transfer oil system, the filling contents in the repair area must be safely drained and stored. Sufficiently sized collection vessels are used for this purpose.
The expansion and collecting vessels are equipped with filling and emptying devices and the necessary sensors.
